His parents stayed together until about the time Nate was seven years old. Agreeably separating, it was also agreed that Nate would go with his father as his mother had too many responsibilities as Alpha to raise a child. However, Nate was able to see her occasionally and he lived a decent childhood, not at all bothered by the hardships of living with his father and only seeing his mother here and there. His father eventually found a new pack for them to fit into and that's when they came to The city that bleeds. Even though his father was a Beta and Nate was the son of his and an Alpha, they started at the bottom of the ranks but quickly worked their way up from Omega. At 17, Nate watched as his father was granted the rank of Beta, but that only lasted a matter of a few days. His father and a few of the other wolves left on some sort of mission that wasn't exactly explained to Nate. He was left under the trusted care of the Alpha, and waited and watched for his father to return. As the third day came to a close, a few of the wolves returned but his father wasn't with them and he was reluctantly told that he was killed, though not given the details on how he was killed.[/b] Other:
