He’ll come off as a respectful gentleman to all, however those who are not fooled easily will be able to sense his sadistic side and if you see him angry, he’ll definitely show you the nature of a sadist. Altarius isn’t one to lose his cool and even in battle he remains very eloquent and he’ll even have a graceful feel about himself. Altarius has a very strategic mind and can calculate the outcome of many situations before they even began to heat up. Altarius has a deep emotional/sensitive side that he openly shows. He (ironically enough) isn’t one who believes in senseless violence. Altarius is a noble fighter and won’t start any form of senseless violence. Everything he does has a cause and a reason and he’ll never start something over pointless matters as well as never engage in any pointless/senseless fight. Altarius will come off to most as a mystery that you really can’t tell much about on the first few times you’re around him. He’s a very complex and deep person and only those of the highest intelligence will be able to truly grasp the complexity of his nature. Altarius doesn’t see a point in friendship, but he does believe that allies are an important thing to have in this world. He will not ever interfere with a fight unless involving someone else, unless it directly or indirectly interferes with his own goals or the goals of his group. While he does not believe in friendship, Altarius can be befriended and is a very valuable ally to anyone that can befriend him. However, while you may think of him as a friend, he’ll probably refer to you as an associate but if you’re lucky he might call you a close ally, which is his way of saying friend without actually saying friend. Altarius is a loyal person and will bring forth a painful death to those who dare threaten his “close allies” or any member of his faction. His family descends from a long line of hunters of the supernatural. He was raised to hate and loathe the creatures of the world that weren't human. Altarius grew up as a hunter, he was raised to become an expert on killing anything supernatural....more specific, vampires and werewolves. Altarius never possessed hatred for the creatures, unlike his family, and took no pleasure in killing them but he always did as he was told and he dared not to question the elders of his family. However, this all changed when Altarius turned fourteen. On his fourteen birthday, Altarius was taken hunting as he always is, he and thirteen other members of his family went into the woods to raid a vampire campground. They went in charging, but found the place empty. That's when they searched and searched but nothing was there, so as the family prepared to leave, a little girl about six years old wandered before them and by the look in her eyes, you could tell she was a vampire. Altarius' father told him he could have the kill, and he and his other family members stepped aside as Altarius would walk towards the girl who looked lost. Altarius would try to tell them that he really wanted one of them to have it, but his family insisted that he kill her, as he needed to know how to kill the young cute ones. Altarius would hesitantly walked towards the girl, who was covered in dirt and asking for food with a cute smile on her face, he cried a few tears but his family couldn't see them. He'd stop about five feet in front of her and grab a bottle of vervain from his sack that he was carrying and he rushed her and shoved it down her throat. The girl screamed in horror and as she did, an older vampire would arrive and he'd run towards Altarius and knock him aside, knocking him unconscious, but he'd kneel down to hold his little girl and as he did, the other members of the hunters would tie him up with rope laced in vervain. He was already weak from an apparent fight he was engaged in earlier that day and thus he couldn't fight back. The male hunters of the group talked about showing this alpha vampire what he should truly fear. Over the course of the next thirty minutes, the girl would be tortured in horrendous ways. The hunters both physically and sexually assaulted the girl and forced the male vampire to watch, who screamed in horror and rage. When Altarius came to, he just watched for awhile and after several minutes they were through with the girl. Alatrius' father grabbed his son and told him to kill both her and the other vampire. He'd cry some more tears before removing the older vampire's head. He'd then walk towards the girl and right before he could kill her, she said the words that remain with him to this day. "It's o-o-okay.....Alice forgives you." Altarius dropped to his knees and stared at her, hoping he would die at that moment. The girl however jumped up and bit him, but she was then immediately taken by his father and killed. The boy would lay there for awhile, while the hunters discussed what to do with him. Altarius' father would come over, holding his head down, and attempt to kill his son. However, Altarius broke out into a rage and killed his father and out of shock he was able to kill the others. From that day on Altarius would go on living his life in the name of Alice. He would kill any hunters he came across, but he would become more sadistic himself in the process. Now, the vampire has moved on to Crimson City and he resides there...watching the humans and supernatural interactions that occur. His allegiance has become entirely to the vampires and he has a pure disdain for humanity altogether. Altarius sees humanity as a curse that causes death to those who have done nothing to them and now Altarius seeks to see the rule of vampires over the world and to either see humanity chained or dead.
